    DPP-UK wing new leadership vows to revive party fortunes

    The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP)-UK wing has elected Dr. Kennedy Bashan Nkhoma as its new chairperson.

    Dr. Nkhoma, a global health researcher at the University of London, has pledged to campaign vigorously to ensure the return of DPP and its leader, Peter Mutharika, to power.

    He plans to utilize his research expertise to conduct surveys in Malawi and develop a strategy to win the 2025 elections.

    Dr. Nkhoma expressed sympathy for Malawians struggling under the Tonse Alliance government and stated that he receives daily calls and messages from people requesting financial support.

    He vowed to work tirelessly to ensure DPP’s return to power, stating that he wants to “make Malawi great again.”

    The new office bearers of the DPP-UK wing include Dr. Kennedy Bashan Nkhoma (Chairperson), Ken Mjojo the Vice Chairperson, Tim Duncan as the Secretary General, Camden Kazunguza the new Treasurer General.

    Goodson Saiwala has been appointed as Strategist, Marvin Chirupani  as Events Director while  Tinali Alfezema as Public Relations Officer.

    They will work together to achieve Dr. Nkhoma’s vision for the party and the country.
